Welcome to Morzine !

Morzine-Avoriaz is a town, two complementary resorts in the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area and therefore much more than a destination, it is above all an art of living: a French art of living, a art of living in the mountains, the art of making and passing on memories and moments shared from generation to generation.

Morzine is a village rich in history and heritage, before being known for its winter sports, it was, among other things, renowned for its production of slate which was used more commonly than today for roofing. .

It was in the 1960s that the Avoriaz station was built. It was on the heights of Morzine that Jean Vuarnet, Jacques Labro and Gérard Brémont developed a project, at the time completely innovative, a modern, urban-type resort while blending in as best as possible with its natural environment, where the slopes are extended by snow-covered streets to return to homes and businesses... The rest, as you know, Avoriaz has become a resort whose reputation is well established!

With family or friends, enjoy everything that makes the mountain that you love: the excitement at the first snowflakes, the nervousness at the sight of the last pylon before arriving at the summit, the whisper of the large white spruce trees... In Morzine, experience real moments…

Come and practice alpine skiing, freestyle, freeride, snowboarding, snowshoeing, telemarking… and many more. Enjoy a moment of escape on the estate by taking the cable cars from the village center and let the wide panoramas and our large white spaces fill your eyes. The fun doesn't stop when you get off the mountain: Morzine offers a wide range of nighttime activities and lively après-ski!

By responding to grayness with greenery, to tumult with calm, to overpopulation with wide open spaces, the mountains are the ideal alternative to urban life, an exotic and revitalizing interlude.

A postcard village, Morzine has managed to preserve the charm and authenticity of the Hautes-Savoie villages, offering visitors a true art of living in the mountains! Know-how, architecture, heritage, gastronomy, alpine culture... Athletes will have the choice between mountain biking, hiking, road cycling, Trail, paragliding, canyoning, rafting... and many others.

With breathtaking views of Mont Blanc and its coniferous forests, Morzine is a life-size playground to discover without delay!
